Take care of yourself : Welcome to Good Place, where you can make it happen.

Hello everyone,

As I prepare to open the first establishment dedicated to well-being, with a mission to empower individuals over their health, I ponder upon it. Here lies something that concerns us all but often receives insufficient attention: our health. At the start of the new year, it's indeed one of the first things we wish for: "Good health!" and most of us resolve to prioritize our health. However, as life resumes its pace, it's often relegated to the backseat. Today, the observation is alarming: in 2024, the world has never been sicker, both physically and mentally.

Consider the following information:

In the United States, 6 out of 10 Americans live with a chronic illness. Diabetes continues to escalate, with projections reaching 1.3 billion cases by 2050. There is also a dramatic rise in cancers among those under 50.

1 in 5 adults lives with a mental illness, and according to forecasts, 20% of youth will experience severe burnout before the age of 18.

Yet, health is the essential foundation not only for overcoming our personal challenges but also for addressing broader societal challenges - whether they're economic, ecological, political, or technological. Thus, being healthy is crucial for oneself and for others.

However, today, we're also on the brink of a major shift in how we approach health and well-being. There's an incredible movement towards prevention rather than mere cure. I am incredibly excited to bolster this approach. Longevity has never interested individuals more; we see influencers, doctors, and even tech companies rallying to raise awareness about the importance of longevity and preventive health. From podcasts to documentaries to emerging brands, the message is clear: it's time to reclaim control over our health.

So, what does this mean for you? Well, for starters, it means there has never been a better time to prioritize your health. Self-care begins with small changes in our daily lives, particularly the establishment of a daily routine that prioritizes balance.

And if you feel overwhelmed or unsure where to begin, don't worry - you're not alone. Good Place's primary mission is to assist you. Whether you're seeking a welcoming place to eat well, move well, and feel well, practical advice, or simply a bit of motivation to continue caring for your health, we're here for you.

So, let's take control of our health, and let's not forget, "it's not just about health, it's primarily about happiness"! You have the power; our mission is simply to help you unleash it.
